Counselling

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and it’s not always easy to talk to the people around us. Counselling offers you a safe space that is just yours. Somewhere you can speak freely, without judgement, and feel genuinely heard and understood.

I work in a person-centred way, which means you are at the heart of everything we do. There’s no pressure to be any particular way or to have everything figured out, we simply start where you are. Counselling sessions last 50 minutes and cost £50 per session.

My Approach

Support for bereavement, grief, palliative care, and carers.

It takes courage to reach out when life feels a struggle. I would like you to know that you don’t have to carry it alone. I work at the Longfield community hospice as a volunteer counsellor.  Longfield has been awarded the UK's palliative care of the year 2025. Due to this, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people during their most vulnerable chapters. I understand that these moments are deeply personal. I offer you a calm, kind, and compassionate space to explore your feelings at your own pace.

My work is primarily person-centred, meaning I follow your lead and respect your individual journey. To ensure you get individually tailored support, I also draw gently on CBT and psychodynamic therapy when it feels right for you. This flexible approach allows us to adapt our sessions to suit your unique personality and needs.

I work with people aged 18 and over, ensuring that our time together always moves at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.

Finding the right fit

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right person to talk to really matters.

The relationship we build together is at the heart of the process. Feeling comfortable, safe and able to be yourself makes all the difference.

That’s why I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. It’s simply a chance for us to say hello, for you to ask any questions, and to see how it feels. There’s no pressure at all, just an opportunity to decide if I’m the right fit for you.
